Repair & Troubleshooting
Forklift Display Not Working
A blank, frozen or flickering forklift display hides the battery state, hour meter and the fault codes you need to fix the truck — and is usually the panel or its harness rather than a deeper fault.
— Reviewed by the ForkliftIQ technical team
Confirm power and ground at the display connector before replacing the unit. A blown fuse or a corroded connector causes most 'dead display' cases.

Most likely causes
Blown fuse / no power — A control fuse or broken supply wire leaves the display dark.
Corroded connector — A bad connection causes flicker or a blank screen.
Failed display unit — After power and ground are confirmed, the panel itself may be faulty.
How to diagnose it
1
Verify the relevant control fuse is intact.
2
Measure supply voltage and ground at the display connector.
3
Look for corrosion or bent pins; reseat and retest.
4
If power and ground are good, fit a matching display.
⚠ Safety: Isolate the battery before unplugging the display to avoid shorting the harness.

FAQ
Why is my forklift display blank?
Usually a blown fuse, a power/ground fault or a corroded connector. Confirm power and ground before replacing the panel.
Can you supply a replacement display?
Yes — instrument clusters, battery discharge indicators, hour meters and multi-function displays; send the part number to match.
Does the display show fault codes?
Yes — multi-function displays show diagnostic codes used to troubleshoot the truck, so a dead display hides the codes you need.
How do I match a display?
Send the brand, model and the part number or a photo.
