Compare walkie, rider and double-pallet formats for warehouse transport

Choose the operating format before comparing model pages. Start with the pallet, route, floor, operator travel and charging window; then use the forklift selector or prepare the RFQ inputs below.

ForkliftIQ Answer

An electric pallet truck is a powered low-lift truck for horizontal pallet movement. Choose a walkie for on-foot control, a platform or rider format when the operator must travel with the truck, and a double-pallet format only when the pallet flow and route support it. If the job includes placing loads into racking, compare a stacker or reach truck instead.

WalkieThe operator controls the truck on foot and the route favors precise, compact movement.Pallet entry, load, aisle and turning space, floor condition, gradients and charging window.
Platform / riderThe operator must travel with the truck across repeated warehouse routes.Route length, operator position, turning space, dock interfaces, work pattern and battery plan.
Double-palletThe operation is designed to transport two pallets in one movement cycle.Pallet arrangement, combined load, route clearance, dock layout and destination handling.
Manual / semi-electricThe task does not require both powered travel and powered lift.Work frequency, floor and ramp conditions, operator effort, load and maintenance support.

Check whether a pallet truck fits the job

Powered pallet trucks are low-lift machines for horizontal transport. They do not replace a pallet stacker or reach truck when loads must be placed into racking. Map the complete route—including pallet pickup, doorways, turns, dock plates, gradients and the delivery point—before choosing a format.

Prepare a supplier-ready RFQ

  • Heaviest pallet and pallet standard, entry direction and dimensions
  • Travel route, aisle and doorway limits, turning points and dock interfaces
  • Floor condition, gradients or ramps, and indoor or outdoor exposure
  • Trips or shifts, charging window and available electrical supply
  • Destination country and port, quantity and required delivery window
  • Documents required for the exact destination and machine configuration

We use these inputs to shortlist existing model pages. Capacity, dimensions, battery, documentation, availability and commercial terms must be confirmed in the current model specification and quotation before order.

Model records available to compare

The current local supplier record identifies Xilin CBD15/CBD20 walkie, CBD20R/CBD25R rider and CBD20S double-pallet families. Open a model page for the recorded capacity and format, then request the current supplier specification for every configuration-dependent field.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a walkie, rider and double-pallet truck?

A walkie is controlled by an operator on foot. A platform or rider format carries the operator during travel. A double-pallet format is designed around moving two pallets in one handling cycle; route and pallet compatibility still need confirmation.

What capacities are recorded for the listed Xilin families?

The local supplier record lists CBD15 at 1,500 kg, CBD20 at 2,000 kg, CBD25R at 2,500 kg and CBD20S at 2,000 kg. Treat these as family-level references and confirm the selected configuration in the current supplier specification.

Which documents should I request for my destination?

State the destination country and intended application in the RFQ. Ask the supplier to identify the documents, declarations, labels and test records that apply to the exact machine and configuration; do not assume a brand-level claim covers every unit.

What information makes a pallet-truck quote useful?

Provide pallet weight and dimensions, route and aisle limits, floor and gradients, work pattern, battery and charging needs, quantity, destination port and required documents.

Prepare a pallet-truck RFQ
