Parts inquiry guide

Forklift Controllers & Contactors

Prepare the details for a model-specific parts request.

Requesting an electric forklift controller or contactor? Identify which unit is needed and preserve its complete label information. A shared voltage rating or similar connector layout is not a confirmed replacement.

Keep controller and contactor requests distinct

State whether the request is for a traction controller, pump controller or contactor, using the name in your existing documents. If the failed component has not been established, describe the symptom as unresolved rather than ordering a part on the assumption that it caused the fault.

Information to include with the parts request

RecordWhat to include
TruckManufacturer, full model and serial number; existing equipment documentation.
Existing unitFull manufacturer label and part number, including suffixes or revision identifiers. Use an existing photo or safely accessible label only.
Recorded configurationExisting hardware/software identifiers, setup reference or service record if already available. Do not connect a programmer or alter settings for this inquiry.
Contactor requestComplete contactor part reference and label; recorded coil and terminal information where available, without treating it as a fit approval.
Scope and conditionNew unit, repair assessment or replacement inquiry; quantity and any required accompanying items.
DestinationDelivery country, requested date and who will handle model-specific setup or installation review.

Ask what the replacement offer includes

Request the exact offered part number, manufacturer, condition and documented cross-reference basis. Ask whether the offered unit is supplied with a vehicle-specific configuration and who is responsible for confirming any setup requirements.

A component label, electrical rating or housing photograph is an identification input, not proof that software, interfaces or vehicle configuration are suitable. Obtain written model-specific confirmation from the equipment or component supplier before ordering.

This page gives no wiring, bypass, diagnostic-testing, parameter-transfer or commissioning instructions. Installation and configuration belong with qualified personnel and the applicable manufacturer documentation.

Follow the appropriate category

Use the controllers and electronics category for manufacturer-specific navigation. Keep an accelerator or operator-control request separate from a controller request; the operator controls category can help label that inquiry.

Availability, price, documentation and delivery terms depend on the exact offer. No all-brand compatibility, certification or fixed lead time is promised.

Inquiry questions

Are matching voltage and current ratings enough?

No. Send the complete unit label, truck identity and existing configuration records. Ask for written confirmation of the exact proposed replacement.

Is a replacement controller ready to install?

Do not assume it is. Ask what configuration is included and who will confirm any model-specific setup. This page does not approve installation or commissioning.

Can I identify a contactor only from a photograph?

A photograph can support the inquiry but is not a complete match. Include the full part reference, readable label and truck records where available.

Does a fault code prove that the controller needs replacing?

This page does not diagnose the fault or confirm the failed component. State the unresolved symptom and obtain a qualified diagnosis before deciding what to replace.
