Jungheinrich has announced an Asia-Pacific launch of its next-generation EFG MB and EFG MC electric counterbalance forklifts. Its official regional release is dated 20 October 2026. The company says the trucks are available to order; this regional announcement does not establish delivery dates or stock at an individual supplier.
Two chassis choices, with configurable energy systems
The manufacturer describes the EFG MB as a three-wheel range covering 1.6–2.0 tonnes and the EFG MC as a four-wheel range covering 2.0–3.0 tonnes. It lists lead-acid and lithium-ion battery options. Those are published range descriptions, rather than a capacity guarantee for every mast, attachment or operating condition.
Jungheinrich also describes two performance packages and says integrated telematics connects with its fleet-management system. The release presents configuration choices across controls, displays and operator equipment. A buyer should request a written specification identifying the features included in the particular offer.
What to put in the purchase comparison
The useful distinction is between choosing a truck family and approving a working configuration. Start with the actual loads, required lift heights, operating space and shift pattern. Give each prospective supplier the same information so that differences between offers are visible.
For an energy comparison, ask for the proposed battery and charger combination, charging arrangements and the documents supplied with them. Keep the truck price, energy equipment, service scope and any recurring digital charges identifiable in the quotation. A feature mentioned in a regional announcement should not silently become an assumed contractual inclusion.
Questions before placing an order
- Which chassis, mast, attachment and load-capacity documentation does the quotation cover?
- Which battery, charger and performance package are included?
- What local delivery, maintenance and digital-service terms will the seller confirm in writing?
Use the supplier directory to investigate companies, the parts directory for component research and the procurement tools to organise a request. These research routes do not confirm a company's authority to supply this range.
Evidence boundary
This brief attributes the launch and configuration descriptions to Jungheinrich. ForkliftIQ has not tested the trucks, verified performance or confirmed dealer stock, warranty eligibility or application suitability. The accompanying generic illustration is not a photograph or exact representation of the EFG MB or EFG MC.
