MH Equipment adds Bohl branches to its Ohio and Indiana forklift service network

Three Bohl locations join MH Equipment’s network. Fleet and parts buyers should confirm branch responsibility, existing contracts and quotation details.

Service-network news brief

MH Equipment’s combination with Bohl Equipment brings three Ohio and Indiana branches into its regional forklift support network. For local fleet operators, the useful next step is to confirm which branch now handles their service agreement and parts orders.

What changed

MH Equipment’s announcement, dated 1 October 2026, says the combination of operations took effect that day. It names Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Toledo and Marion, Ohio, as the three additional locations, taking its network above 30 locations. That is three added branches, rather than 30 new branches.

Bohl’s own notice dates the acquisition to 30 September. These are different milestones: the ownership notice and the effective operational date should remain distinct. Both businesses explicitly exclude Bohl Crane from the transaction.

MH Equipment says customers retain access to local equipment sales, rental, maintenance, repair and parts support. That is the company’s service-continuity statement, not an independently measured response-time result.

What fleet and parts buyers should check

For an existing customer, update the purchasing record only after confirming the responsible branch and contracting entity. Keep the current agreement, equipment serial numbers and unresolved service cases together, so a change in company ownership does not obscure the original order history.

  • Which branch and legal entity will issue the next quotation and invoice?
  • Who is responsible for an existing rental, maintenance contract or warranty case?
  • Does a replacement-parts offer identify the exact part number, condition, included scope and delivery terms?
  • Which contact should receive an urgent service request, and what response commitment is written into the agreement?

Evidence boundary

This brief is published on 11 October and preserves the original transaction dates. ForkliftIQ has not verified branch stock, contract transfers, dealer authorisation for a particular territory or service performance.
