Buyer interpretation

Use the CBT15 as a stand-up counterbalance research route; require a current model-specific load chart, operator arrangement and battery package before selecting it.

A model name helps organize research. Technical approval still depends on one exact configuration and a written operating requirement.

Application boundary

A standing operator arrangement changes the working task and the purchasing questions. Record travel, pallet collection, placement, waiting and operator access as one cycle. Compare the standing compartment, controls and visibility with the actual work rather than assuming a compact truck will improve throughput in every warehouse.

Configuration evidence

The product table groups CBT15 and CBT18 together. Preserve the CBT15 column and request a dated data sheet with a labelled drawing. The public table contains a conflicting metric and imperial lift-height entry in the CBT18 column, so family-level numbers cannot be transferred into this model profile.

Operating-system check

Published voltage and nominal ampere-hours identify an energy entry, not the supplied chemistry, usable energy or shift duration. Obtain the battery and charger codes and a duty-cycle proposal based on measured work and charging breaks. Ask which configuration is supported in the destination market.

Information to measure before requesting this model

Record typical and maximum load, dimensions, overhang, centre of gravity and pallet entry direction. Measure rack beams, required placement clearance, doors, overhead restrictions, working aisles, turns and pedestrian crossings. Describe floor condition, joints and gradients with the responsible site team.

Map the standing operator task, travel distances, collection and placement frequency, waiting periods and charging windows. Supply the available electrical installation and ambient conditions. Ask for an application review tied to the offered truck, mast, forks, tyres, battery and charger rather than the family name alone.

Questions for the quotation

  • Which mast and load chart cover our actual load centre, attachment and highest rack beam?
  • Which dimensions include the operator compartment, forks and mast in the offered configuration?
  • What battery chemistry, charger, connector and site electrical supply are required?
  • Which documents explicitly identify CBT15 rather than CBT18 or another regional variant?

Documents to request

Ask for the complete model and option codes, a dated model-specific data sheet, dimensions, the configuration-specific load chart, battery and charger data, attachment approval, tyre specification, operator and maintenance manuals, scheduled service requirements and the applicable destination-market conformity records. The contracting party should identify who commissions the truck, provides training, supports diagnostics, supplies parts and carries warranty responsibility.

How to compare an alternative

Build one comparison sheet and hold the operating case constant. Use the same load, load centre, lift height, attachment, aisle or route, gradients, floor, temperature, shifts and charging window for every candidate. Ask suppliers to show where each quoted value comes from and whether it is standard, optional, calculated, tested or dependent on a market package.

Separate truck price from the operating system around it. Include charger and electrical work, battery replacement assumptions, tyres, scheduled service, diagnostic access, software or telematics fees, training, commissioning, freight, spare parts and expected downtime support. A lower equipment price can produce a higher operational cost when these boundaries are omitted.

Commercial and delivery boundary

Record the legal seller, Incoterm, delivery location, included options, excluded installation work, document language, acceptance method, warranty start, response time and responsible service entity. Require written change control when the supplier substitutes a mast, battery, charger, tyre, controller or software package after the technical review.

Parts and service identity

The family name is not sufficient for a parts match. Preserve the data plate, full model, serial number, mast and attachment details, battery voltage, controller and display labels, old component number, connectors, ports, mounting points and dimensions. Ask the source of every proposed replacement: catalogue record, drawing, supersession notice or written manufacturer confirmation.

Stand-up counterbalance is a separate handling route

A counterbalance truck carries the load ahead of its chassis. A standing operating arrangement should be considered separately from a ride-on low-lift pallet truck and from a reach truck. Those equipment types can share a warehouse while using different load-support geometry, pallet access and lifting tasks. Start with the work to be done, then identify the operator format and equipment class in the quotation.

Ask the supplier for a drawing of the standing compartment and its access arrangement. Measure where the worker enters, exits and positions the truck during a normal transfer. Agree a supervised demonstration of representative work with the responsible site team. The illustration on this page explains the equipment category; it is not a dimensional drawing of the CBT15.

Check mast clearance and capacity together

Record the lowest overhead obstruction and the highest placement point. Require the collapsed mast height, free-lift definition, overhead guard height and raised envelope for the proposed mast. A reference lift height cannot establish that the truck fits a doorway or retains the required capacity at the highest beam.

Provide the actual load centre and attachment details to the supplier. This public source does not supply a load-centre value for the model, so this page does not assign one. Request the configuration-specific chart and keep it with the quote. Document who approves attachment integration and any resulting changes to the load rating.

Clarify the shared table before accepting an offer

The source combines two model columns and metric and imperial units. One lift-height pair in the CBT18 column is inconsistent. Ask for the current CBT15-only data sheet rather than resolving that inconsistency by borrowing a number from its neighbour. Preserve the full model code, revision date and regional package on each document.

Make the offered mast, forks, wheel specification and energy package explicit. Ask the contracting supplier to explain differences between the public page and the quotation. A written clarification is useful evidence; a family title alone cannot resolve a discrepancy.

Battery, service and delivered identity

Specify battery chemistry, identification, connector, charger output, input supply and installation responsibility. Require the approved maintenance and charging information for that combination. Do not infer a lithium system or a particular runtime from the voltage entry. Include access for service and the responsible local support entity in the purchasing brief.

Store the truck serial number, mast identification, controller and display labels, battery and charger records, tyre dimensions and fork markings after delivery. Obtain documented fitment for replacement components. The parts identification route helps organize these records; it cannot replace manufacturer confirmation.

Compare different operator and rack tasks

Compare the NOBLELIFT FE4P N Series seated route around the same load and site measurements when deciding the operator arrangement. Review the EP CQD20LB reach-truck route separately when rack access is the central constraint. Keep each truck's load chart and dimensions with its own offer.

Evidence boundary

ForkliftIQ has not inspected or tested this truck. Published capacity, dimensions, energy and software statements remain attributed to the manufacturer source. Current availability, exact configuration, regional documentation, dealer authority, lead time, field performance and warranty must be confirmed in writing for the offered truck.
