EP presents electric forklifts and fleet support at Platformers’ Days

EP’s Karlsruhe exhibition report combines electric truck choices with after-sales and telematics. Rental buyers should confirm the complete support package.

EP Equipment used Platformers’ Days in Karlsruhe to present electric forklifts alongside the services and operating information needed to manage a rental fleet. Its manufacturer report, published on 13 October 2026, describes participation at Messe Karlsruhe on 8–9 October. This brief reports that exhibition programme, rather than a new launch date for every displayed truck.

What EP presented

The company names rough-terrain, EFL PRO and higher-capacity electric equipment in its display. It also describes a dedicated After-Sales and Telematics area where visitors could discuss support with its specialists. According to the report, EP Telematics brings together location, operating hours, battery status and diagnostic information. Those are the manufacturer’s described information categories; their availability on a particular offered truck still needs confirmation.

Why rental buyers should look beyond the truck

A rental purchase has to remain usable across assignments, maintenance periods and changes of customer. The practical implication is to compare the support and information package at the same time as the machine. A truck quotation and a fleet-service proposal can leave important gaps if neither document says which party supplies access, interprets alerts or arranges repair support.

Prepare an assignment brief covering the load, route, ground conditions, charging opportunities and expected rental duration. Separate general warehouse work from an outdoor or rough-ground requirement. Ask for configuration-specific evidence instead of treating a mixed exhibition display as proof that every model suits every site.

Questions for a comparable rental-fleet offer

  • Which exact truck, battery and supplied options are proposed, and what application limits accompany them?
  • Which operating-data fields are available on that configuration, who receives access and what connectivity or subscription terms apply?
  • Who handles diagnostics, replacement parts and service at the intended operating locations? Ask for responsibilities and exclusions in writing.

Use the model-comparison brief to keep proposals consistent, review EP brand research and include the support scope in a sourcing requirement.

Evidence boundary

The source is EP’s own account of its exhibition participation. ForkliftIQ did not attend, test the trucks, verify telematics functionality or confirm regional stock and service coverage. No performance improvement, safety outcome, installation method or particular truck-to-site match is established here.
