Understand this catalogue entry

NV-SP100-3 is a shallow speaker reference with a large circular front feature inside a chamfered housing and a broad mounting bracket. The prepared presentation retains the pictured assembly rather than substituting a rectangular flared horn or adding an amplifier. The compact form and its stated dimensions help distinguish it from the other speaker references in this directory.

The supplier says it is compatible with any 100W siren amplifier, but that universal claim is not adopted here. Speaker impedance, amplifier load limits, connectors, rating conditions and intended signal must be checked together. The 12V wording does not independently establish a direct battery interface or an integrated amplifier inside the depicted speaker.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Which speaker revision and amplifier load are specified?

Request the full NV-SP100-3 revision and documentation for its 8-ohm load and 100W rating conditions. Match those documents with the proposed amplifier specification. Equal headline power figures do not by themselves establish a compatible speaker/amplifier combination or a safe operating duty.

What drawing and accessories define the mounting package?

Ask for the complete bracket and housing envelope, hole spacing, pivot range, terminal details and supplied hardware. Confirm whether the 51.5mm depth includes every projection. A slim housing description is not proof of space behind a grille, bumper or machine panel.

Which acoustic and application evidence is available?

Obtain acoustic data identifying the input, distance, measurement method and operating conditions. The source’s 120–130dB entry is not an independently verified sound level or a promise of safe audibility. Keep the intended use and relevant product documents explicit; no connection, sound-exposure or installation procedure is provided here.

Match speaker load to the documented amplifier output

Treat the speaker and amplifier as separate components unless current documentation establishes otherwise. The source voltage wording and wattage do not define a connection method. This reference provides no wiring or operational instructions.

Sources and evidence limits

The official source supports a compact speaker identity and procurement questions. Universal amplifier compatibility, acoustic output, rating conditions, mounting fit and permitted application remain unverified.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.

NV-SP100-3 and NV-SP100-3B: an unresolved relationship

The current NV-SP100-3 webpage table gives 150 × 145 × 51.5 mm and 8 Ω. Official PDF page 22 labels a similarly shaped speaker NV-SP100-3B and lists 145 × 138 × 52 mm with 4/6/8/11 Ω choices. Both list 100 W and 400–4000 Hz. Matching appearance or power does not prove that B is a harmless naming suffix or that the parts interchange.

Ask for a documented model mapping

Request a current complete code, labelled photograph, drawing and electrical sheet. Ask whether the references denote different assemblies, revisions or source errors. Keep the source-specific entries together until that question is resolved. No automatic alias, inventory, compatible connector or safe replacement claim is made. The original webpage data, image and purchase routes remain available above.
