NOVA NV-HD8 compact hideaway light

An eight-emitter reference with a three-metre lead, distinct from H8 despite the similar model-number ending.

Presentation prepared from supplier imagery. Confirm the offered version and supplied parts; the illustration is not dimensional or test evidence.

Understand this catalogue entry

NV-HD8 remains separate from H8. Its official table gives a 38.5 × 19mm envelope, three-metre lead and sixteen patterns, while H8 has different dimensional, lead and pattern entries. Similar round construction or an “8” suffix is not enough to merge these references or claim the same electrical/control interface.

The independent image retains the circular flange, two fixing holes and eight-element central reference shown by the supplier. The body contains mixed “17” and “16” pattern wording, whereas the feature list and table say sixteen. The page keeps the table entry attributed and flags the wording difference rather than presenting an invented combined count.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Which NV-HD8 revision and controls are quoted?

Ask for the complete reference, selected colour and documented pattern/control sheet. Request confirmation of the mixed pattern wording. The 24W title and eight 3W emitter entry are catalogue descriptions, not an independently measured operating-demand report.

What does the mounting drawing establish?

Obtain the full flange, fixing pitch, protrusion and lead-exit drawing for the offered unit. The 38.5 × 19mm table is not evidence of interchangeability with H8 or another hideaway assembly. No drilling, host-lamp modification or installation procedure is provided here.

Which lead and synchronisation parts are included?

Confirm actual three-metre cable, termination and supplied mounting parts. If multiple-unit synchronisation is required, ask for documented compatible models and interfaces. A broad statement about other lights does not prove a match to an existing system or a particular vehicle accessory supply.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

Official NV-HD8 body and table support a distinct reference with a pattern-wording limitation. Optical effectiveness, protection, synchronisation and universal-location claims are not independently tested. No installed warning coverage or specific machine fit is established.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
