Understand this catalogue entry

NW36 is a compact square work-lamp family, not a guarantee of universal replacement fit. The source describes spot and flood options as well as a higher-specification and an economic version. It states that the ECO version does not include a DT connector. Comparing two prices without identifying beam and termination can therefore compare different supply scopes.

The illustration retains the source’s clipped-corner housing, circular optics and lower mounting bracket. It does not identify every internal component or distinguish all economic and higher-specification versions visually. The 36W, 3600lm and 6000K entries are supplier figures; ForkliftIQ has not measured consumption or illumination from a sample.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Which beam and commercial version are being quoted?

Request the full reference, selected spot or flood optics and the precise version description. Ask which documented components or features distinguish the economic version. Do not infer an internal specification from an exterior that resembles the higher-specification photograph.

Is the connector part of the package?

Specify DT or cable end, confirm mating-connector inclusion and record lead length. The source says the ECO version lacks DT, so a connector should not be silently assumed in a low-price comparison. A connector name alone does not establish machine compatibility or pin assignment.

What drawing and lighting evidence are available?

Obtain the current fixing and envelope drawing plus available photometric information for the chosen beam. The table dimensions should not be extended to include an unspecified bracket angle or lead clearance. Catalogue protection and thermal claims also need documentation for the actual offered version.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

The NW36 source supports code, version and connection identification. Claims about all vehicles or any installation are not adopted here. Regulatory, environmental and optical performance remain unverified supplier claims; no inventory or specific machine adaptation is promised.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.

NW36 and NW-EW36: similar optics, different source entries

The catalogue photograph and webpage show a similar scalloped housing and eighteen-optic layout. The catalogue adds a magnetic mounting assembly, while the webpage source image shows a stud bracket. Similar appearance does not establish an ordering-code alias or prove that the lamp, cable and mounting package are identical.

What to confirm before requesting a quote

Ask whether the quoted item is NW36 or NW-EW36, and request a model-labelled photograph, complete mounting package and dated drawing. The 98 mm and 125 mm height entries may use different dimension boundaries, but that explanation has not been confirmed. Do not silently substitute one height or input range for the other. The two lumen values remain attributed to their respective documents.

Evidence boundaries

These are supplier-published descriptions, not independently tested ratings, confirmed inventory, authorization or vehicle compatibility. Keep the source and exact offered configuration attached to any purchasing decision. Existing supplier contact and procurement routes remain available above.
