NOVA NW-S12 nine-inch driving light

A round driving-light reference with distinct spot/flood choices and a supplier-published 12–48V range.

Presentation prepared from supplier imagery. Confirm the offered version and supplied parts; the illustration is not dimensional or test evidence.

Understand this catalogue entry

NW-S12 is the nine-inch, twelve-emitter reference in this source. The body also mentions a smaller seven-inch, six-emitter alternative. That smaller option is not automatically the same part: its dimensions, power and mounting details need a separate specification. The prepared image follows the round twelve-optic assembly and its lower mounting bracket.

The table publishes 120W, 7000lm and 6000K entries, with spot or flood as selectable beam versions. These are supplier figures rather than ForkliftIQ measurements. A light with the same nominal output but a different optical pattern can serve a different task, so the chosen beam must remain part of the product identity in the quotation.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Which size and optical version are quoted?

Request the NW-S12 reference, nine-inch version and selected spot or flood beam together. If the seven-inch alternative is proposed, obtain its own data sheet rather than carrying over NW-S12 figures. A model photograph cannot establish measured beam coverage or interchangeable mounting.

What does the dimensional drawing include?

Ask for the complete envelope, bracket adjustment and fixing pitch. The 237 × 229 × 98mm table entry should not be used to infer cable clearance or every bracket position. Record available mounting space and request the actual assembly drawing for comparison.

Which electrical and approval documents apply?

Confirm the offered unit’s input range, current demand and DT mating-connector scope. A 48V upper catalogue limit is not proof of compatibility with the operating voltage or transients of a nominal 48V traction battery. Obtain suitable equipment-specific documentation; the R10 listing alone is not a verified road-use approval.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

The official NW-S12 body and table support attributed identification entries. Photometric, protection, thermal and approval claims have not been independently tested. No battery connection, universal vehicle fit or safe illumination outcome is established.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
