Understand this catalogue entry

The blue-beacon page names BH18-B, while its specification table groups BH18 and BH18D. That difference should remain visible in a purchasing enquiry: the family table is not a complete ordering code for the blue version, nor does it identify every lens and mounting combination.

The prepared image follows the tall blue lens and Flexi DIN attachment shown in the supplier reference. A permanent or magnetic base is a separate choice and should have its own drawing. The colour of a lens in a presentation does not independently verify emitted colour, optical output or suitability for a particular operating environment.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Connect the page name to the quoted reference

Ask which current order code corresponds to BH18-B and whether the proposal is single- or dual-colour. Request the matching label and specification revision. Keep the family names BH18 and BH18D as context rather than substituting one for the other without documentation.

Identify the attachment rather than only the dome

Request the complete base arrangement, mating interface and included hardware. The pictured DIN attachment must not be read as proof that a magnetic or permanent configuration is supplied. Confirm the envelope on the drawing for that base, since an overall family dimension may not cover each attachment.

Review colour and control requirements separately

Ask for the exact emitted colour, flash-pattern list and any dimming or synchronization interface required. Determine applicable requirements with the equipment owner and appropriate advisers. A catalogue application list does not authorise use of blue warning lighting on a vehicle or site.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

No specific forklift fit or acceptance is established. NOVA’s approval, interference, durability and warranty statements remain supplier claims requiring current version-specific evidence where relevant to a purchase. This reference does not verify those claims or provide installation instructions.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
