Understand this catalogue entry

BT16 is the model in the official table for this beacon source. Its sixteen-emitter entry, twelve-pattern description and 120 × 84mm envelope should not be replaced with the specifications of another B-series beacon merely because the housings look similar. The prepared image retains the clear ribbed lens, black top and broad lower base shown by the supplier.

Permanent, magnetic and pole mounting are listed as options. A drawing is needed to establish how the selected base changes the complete assembly, and a clear lens does not identify the operating colour. The source’s broad emergency-vehicle and visibility language is not used here as evidence of a particular legal role, warning coverage or suitable operating speed.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Which operating colour and base version are offered?

Request the full BT16 revision, single-colour choice and selected mounting arrangement. Have the supplier distinguish permanent-base, magnetic and pole packages in the quotation. The exterior reference image cannot establish all underside components or the contents of each offer.

What does the dimensional drawing include?

Ask for complete installed height, mounting footprint, fixing pitch and lead clearance for the chosen base. The 120 × 84mm table entry is an attributed envelope, not a universal dimension for every mount. Obtain the actual lead and controller scope as separate items.

Which electrical and approval evidence is available?

Request assembled-unit current-demand and documents for the selected colour and revision. A sixteen-times-three-watt emitter description is not an independent consumption measurement. Approval names, pattern counts and interference claims do not independently establish compatibility or compliant use on a particular vehicle.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

The official BT16 body and table support model and mounting-choice identification. Optical performance, environmental resistance, approval and interference claims remain supplier statements. No universal application, retained temporary mount or safe-warning result is established.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
