NOVA NV-FW flexible warning strip

An amber flexible strip with selectable length and separate voltage versions; custom-range wording is not a standard universal rating.

Presentation prepared from supplier imagery. Confirm the offered version and supplied parts; the illustration is not dimensional or test evidence.

Understand this catalogue entry

NV-FW is a flexible amber flashing strip rather than a rigid traffic-arrow bar or a general white work light. The source lists several lengths and describes mounting using adhesive or cable ties. The curved presentation illustrates flexibility of the reference; it is not evidence of an allowable minimum bend radius, repeated-flex life or retention on a specific moving vehicle.

The table gives two voltage windows, 10–16V and 24–30V. The body discusses a customised 10–30V option. These should remain different requests: a custom range cannot be silently assigned to every standard NV-FW. The body also says IP68 while the table says IP67; neither is represented here as independently verified installed protection.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Which length and electrical version are offered?

State the required length and ask whether the quote covers the lower-voltage, higher-voltage or a documented custom version. Request the corresponding input-demand information. Do not extrapolate the common 3.9W entry across every length without confirmation.

What physical limits and mounting materials are documented?

Ask for the full strip dimensions, allowable shaping information and the supplied attachment materials. Adhesive or tie mounting descriptions do not establish retention, durability or compatibility with every surface. Keep substrate and environmental conditions in the sourcing brief.

What lead and protection documentation is available?

The body describes a 75cm cable, but confirm the lead and termination for the chosen version in the quotation. Ask the supplier to resolve IP67 versus IP68 wording with current documents. No wiring procedure or automatic approval for an exposed installation is provided here.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

Official NV-FW text supports separate voltage and length choices, with an explicit protection-rating discrepancy. The table gives no certification identifier. No warning-zone coverage, road approval, universal voltage compatibility or stock commitment is established.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.

NW-FW and NV-FW: keep the document versions separate

The supplier webpage identifies NV-FW, while official PDF page 17 labels a similar flexible strip NW-FW. Both describe 19, 24 and 34 cm lengths and show a curved flexible strip. Appearance and shared lengths alone do not confirm an alias, a replacement or a separate assembly. The existing NV-FW page remains the reference; no additional NW-FW product page or automatic alias is created.

Electrical, enclosure and function entries differ

The webpage table lists 10–16 V or 24–30 V, amber, 3.9 W, IP67 and one pattern. Its body separately mentions IP68. The PDF describes a standard 12 V version with custom 10–30 V options, and its table uses IP65 with steady-on, single-flash and traffic-arrow entries. The PDF body names amber and blue while its table also lists red. These statements are retained as source-specific differences, not merged into a broader operating range, a higher protection grade or a promise of selectable functions.

What to request for the offered strip

Ask for a current full ordering code and written NW-FW/NV-FW mapping, selected length, documented supply version, colour and control mode. Obtain the applicable electrical and enclosure records, current dimensions and packing list. A pictured long strip and drawing do not establish that every length has the same electrical specification. Cable-tie and adhesive descriptions do not establish an approved installation on a particular machine, and no wiring or cutting procedure is provided here.

Until the naming and revision relationship is documented, neither source establishes inventory, universal forklift fit, authorization, installed protection or independently verified performance. Keep the current quotation, supplier identity and selected configuration together through the existing procurement routes.
