NOVA HF6 multifunction hideaway light

A separately named catalogue multifunction hideaway light; confirm the exact optical version, electrical documentation and complete supplied assembly.

Presentation follows the circular flange, rear stem and separate optical zones. It is not a cut-out drawing, wiring record or approval document.

Understand this catalogue entry

HF6 is separately named as a multifunction hideaway light in the official catalogue. The source photograph shows two larger optical zones above and below a textured marker area. This differs from the existing H6 webpage, which describes a single-function six-element lamp with a different envelope, and from the separately named HT4/HM4 family. Shared hideaway terminology is not a model mapping.

The HF6 table describes a warning function with six elements, a marker function with ten elements, nineteen warning patterns and steady-on marker operation. The body mentions amber warning and optional amber side-marker, red tail or white position functions. Those statements do not prove that one unit includes every listed colour or that an installed legal lamp function has been approved.

The source is internally cautious: body text refers to approval classes as options, while the table explicitly says R65 and R10 are pending. This page preserves that pending status and does not present HF6 as approved. Ask for current applicable evidence if approval is a purchasing requirement; a later supplier document would need to identify the exact configuration.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Which optical and colour configuration is offered?

Request a complete HF6 reference and identify the role of each optical area, selected colours, warning patterns and marker control. Keep warning and steady-on requirements separate. A single-colour table entry and a list of possible marker colours do not demonstrate a switchable multi-colour product or establish the function of every lead.

Which drawing defines the recess and flange?

The reviewed drawing labels a 40 mm face, 28 mm stem, 39 mm depth, 34 mm stem length and 5 mm flange feature. Obtain a current complete drawing and the required mounting specification for the offered version. A 40 mm face is not an instruction to make a 40 mm cut-out. The image does not establish material, sealing method or mounting hardware.

What is the current approval and electrical evidence?

Ask for the current input sheet, demand, selected control interface and any applicable test or approval documents. The PDF table’s pending approval entry is not evidence of completed certification. Its IP67 description is also a supplier statement rather than independently verified installed protection. Do not borrow H6 or HT4 documentation because the product has a similar circular face.

Keep the accessory specification separate from a safety-system claim

A lighthead or hideaway lamp in a vehicle catalogue does not establish an approved forklift protective system or replacement part. Identify the actual machine, documented accessory supply, mounting requirements and intended use through the existing supplier and procurement paths. Current documents must cover the selected configuration. No wiring, installation, aiming or protective-effect instructions are provided here.

Sources and evidence limits

The official PDF supports the separately named reference, appearance and attributed descriptions. Its publication date is unverified. Stock, current revision, authorization, installed visibility and machine compatibility remain unverified. Shared names, colour choices and adjacent approval wording must not be transferred between models.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
