NOVA HS4-S hideaway-light reference

A separately labelled compact lighthead with single- and dual-head presentations; confirm the selected assembly and supplied controller.

Presentation follows the catalogue dual-head example. It does not establish the packing list, installed depth, approval or fit to a particular vehicle.

Understand this catalogue entry

HS4-S has a separate heading, photographs and drawing in the official catalogue. The panel presents single-head and dual-head arrangements, with an inline controller and mounting bezels visible in the larger photograph. These are configuration examples rather than evidence that a specific number of heads, bezels or controllers is included in every quotation.

The front drawing shows a 50 by 43.9 mm outline, a 31.8 mm fixing span and a 37 mm circular annotation. The viewed panel does not provide a complete installed depth or rear-clearance specification. The existing NV-HS4 webpage instead describes a 55 by 21.6 mm diameter/height entry and a 10–33 V range. A shared four-LED description is not enough to collapse the two references.

The HS4-S table gives a 10–30 V input, single colour, a 4 × 3 W LED entry, twelve patterns and IP67 wording, with screw/bezel mounting and 20 cm four-core wires. The neighbouring H6 row has different LED and cable entries. Those H6 figures are not assigned to HS4-S, and the LED label is not represented as measured controller-plus-head consumption.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Is the quotation for one head or a dual-head assembly?

Ask for the exact ordering reference and itemised packing list. Identify head count, colour, controller, connecting leads, plugs, bezels and fixings separately. The catalogue photographs show more than one arrangement and do not settle the commercial supply scope. Request written confirmation of what is included and which items are optional before comparing unit prices.

Which drawing establishes the mounting interface?

Obtain a current drawing with total depth, rear clearance, fixing dimensions and cable exit. The reviewed front view is useful for identifying a different body from NV-HS4, but it does not establish a particular vehicle aperture or permission to modify a lamp assembly. Do not infer a drill size, mounting procedure or installed protection from the front photograph.

Which control and electrical specification applies?

Ask which controller and pattern selection belong to the offered head arrangement, together with current consumption, input range and applicable environmental documents. A listed 20 cm lead is not a complete vehicle harness specification. Do not borrow H6 cable lengths, NV-HS4 voltage limits or a neighbouring product’s approval. Keep the machine accessory supply and application evidence separate from the lighthead identity.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

The official catalogue supports the printed reference, illustrated configuration and attributed table/drawing entries. Publication date, current availability, authorization, tested output, certification scope and machine fit are not independently verified. Request current documentation for the exact offered version; adjacent model data are not substitutes.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
