NOVA NW-M50 Work Light

Compare the NW-M50 webpage and NW-FM50 PDF entries without assuming the two names identify the same electrical or mechanical version.

Presentation prepared from supplier imagery. Confirm the offered version and supplied parts; the illustration is not dimensional or test evidence.

Understand this catalogue entry

The official URL uses reversing-work-light wording, while the page title describes a mining work light and the main model is NW-M50. A paragraph uses NW-FM50 instead. This page preserves that identity question rather than silently correcting the text or treating the two names as confirmed equivalents.

The source describes work lighting for several heavy-equipment applications, including material handling. That establishes a research route, not a specific forklift fit or a reversing-alarm function. The prepared image retains the compact housing, front optics and metal bracket shown by the supplier.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Resolve the exact model identity

Ask whether NW-FM50 is another version, an earlier reference or an error, and request the current order code with a matching label and drawing. Do not infer interchangeability from the shared page or assume that a quoted part uses the table’s complete specification.

Choose the optical version explicitly

The table offers spot and flood beam descriptions. Request the selected optical reference and supporting beam information if the application requires it. Brightness figures and illustrations do not independently establish the light distribution at a particular mounting position.

Match the connector and bracket documents

Ask for the complete DT connector and mating-harness references, supplied lead scope and bracket drawing. Confirm mounting centres, adjustment envelope and rear clearance from documentation. A familiar connector-family name or similar bolt arrangement cannot establish a replacement match.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

Power, lumen, interference, protection and operating-temperature entries remain supplier claims requiring current evidence where relevant. No mining-site acceptance, forklift fit, reversing-system approval or verified durability is established.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.

NW-M50 and NW-FM50: compare the source entries

The fresh webpage still names NW-M50 in its heading and table, while one body paragraph uses NW-FM50. The official catalogue, PDF page 29 (printed 55–56), separately labels a lamp NW-FM50 and supplies a different specification. This is evidence of a naming and specification problem, not proof that either spelling is a harmless typo or an interchangeable replacement.

Do not combine the two specifications

Keep the source document, full code, revision, dimensions and electrical data together in an offer. A buyer should not select the smaller webpage envelope and simultaneously apply the PDF wattage, lumen figure or supply range. The original webpage values above remain visible as source-specific entries, not validated ratings for the PDF item.

What would resolve the naming question?

Ask for a current model-labelled photograph and drawing, a dated electrical sheet and a written statement explaining whether NW-M50 and NW-FM50 are different versions, earlier and later references, or a source error. Until those records agree, this site retains one existing research page and creates neither a duplicate FM50 page nor an alias or replacement claim.
