NOVA SH6-V / SH6-H warning lightheads

A lighthead family whose vertical and horizontal versions must be selected by documented optical orientation, not by rotating the same photograph.

Presentation prepared from supplier imagery. Confirm the offered version and supplied parts; the illustration is not dimensional or test evidence.

Understand this catalogue entry

The SH6 source explicitly distinguishes a vertical SH6-V from a horizontal SH6-H. The prepared image follows the vertical reference with its narrow black frame and elongated optical strip. This is not evidence that a horizontal model can provide the same documented light distribution simply by being rotated. Identify the required orientation in the sourcing brief and retain its own model suffix.

The body and table differ on voltage wording and emitter rating: 10–30V appears in the introduction, 12V/24V in the table, and six 4W emitters in the body versus six 3W in the table. Approval-class wording also varies. These differences are reasons to obtain a current sheet for the exact orientation, not to construct a combined specification from the most favourable entries.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Which orientation and complete model are required?

Request SH6-V or SH6-H by name and ask for the matching optical and mounting documentation. Specify the intended mounting attitude and available panel space. The vertical reference photograph should not be presented as a dimensional drawing for the horizontal version.

What electrical specification applies to the current revision?

Ask the supplier to reconcile the voltage and emitter-rating differences and provide assembled-unit current demand. A multiplication of emitter ratings is not a measurement of input consumption. Keep the resolved sheet with the offer so differently revised units can be compared accurately.

Which colour and approval documents are supplied?

Record the chosen colour, controller interface, lead and mounting parts. If a regulatory class is required, request the actual documents for that orientation and colour. The differing claims in a family catalogue do not establish a verified approval or suitability for a particular warning role.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

Official SH6 body and table are the identification sources. Voltage, emitter rating and approval-class differences remain unresolved until confirmed by current documentation. No superior safety effect, installed warning coverage or universal vehicle fit is established.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
