NOVA M3 oval marker-light reference

An oval marker-light reference shown in three lens colours, with a flat mounting extension; distinct from the round, double-sided NS-M3 lamp.

Presentation follows one amber M3 catalogue example. It is not a three-piece kit, dimensioned drawing, function demonstration or approval record.

Understand this catalogue entry

M3 has its own heading in the official catalogue, with an oval lens, two end fixing positions and a flat extension above the lamp body. Amber, red and clear examples are pictured. They are treated as lens options, not a three-piece kit and not proof that every quoted lamp has selectable colours or identical electrical characteristics.

This oval M3 differs visibly from the existing NS-M3 webpage reference, which shows a round double-sided red/white lamp on a projecting support. That webpage has its own 91 × 72 × 57 mm entry and voltage descriptions. Neither a shared M3 string nor a generic marker-light category justifies transferring those values to the oval catalogue item.

The reviewed M3 drawing identifies a 104.6 mm width with ±0.3 mm tolerance, an 84 mm fixing span with ±0.2 mm tolerance and a 14.5 mm side-view dimension with ±0.2 mm tolerance. The panel has no input-voltage, consumption, lumen, enclosure-rating or approval table. A current complete drawing is still needed to define the offered bracket, rear clearance and cable exit.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Which oval M3 and lens option is being offered?

Request a current model-labelled photograph, complete ordering code and selected lens/colour description. State that the required reference is the oval catalogue M3, and compare it with the round NS-M3 before accepting a substitution. Keep the required quantity and destination with the request. The three catalogue photographs are examples of options; they do not establish stock, a three-piece set or confirmed road-use functions.

What does the supplied mounting assembly include?

Ask for a complete current drawing showing the lamp, flat extension, fixing span, total height and depth, lead exit and supplied hardware. Keep tolerances with the dimensions rather than rounding them into a guaranteed fit. The drawing does not provide an installation instruction, and a matching nominal screw spacing does not establish that a vehicle panel or existing bracket is suitable.

Which electrical and application records are missing?

Obtain the actual input limits, consumption, cable or connector information and applicable environmental records for the chosen version. Those values are not supplied by the reviewed catalogue panel. Do not borrow the NS-M3 voltage or IP wording, infer an LED count from a small rendered patch, or assign a legal lighting function solely from an amber, red or clear lens. Request any relevant model-specific approval documents from the quoting entity.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

The official catalogue supports the separate oval M3 identity, pictured lens options and limited drawing dimensions. Publication date, current supply, authorization, electrical ratings, tested output, approval scope and machine compatibility remain unverified. The NS-M3 webpage is a comparison source for a visibly different reference, not an electrical specification for this item.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
