Understand this catalogue entry

NOVA’s mini dash-light page identifies DM4 and lists DM4 with DM8 in its table. The body describes four- and eight-emitter options. Treat those as version identifiers that need a supplier drawing, not as evidence that both versions are included in one order.

The reference presentation shows a black angled pod with a light module, side hardware and lead. The enclosure, light source and plug controller form different parts of a potential supply package. A product photograph cannot determine whether a quoted price includes all of them or establish the cab clearance required.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Select DM4 or DM8 explicitly

Request the current order reference, colour version and physical envelope for the selected unit. Where an offer contains several pods or modules, have each quantity recorded. Do not derive the DM8 dimensions or packing scope from the DM4 page illustration.

Clarify the pod and fixing scope

Ask which enclosure, adjustable parts and adhesive materials are provided. Request a drawing that includes the rear interface and adjustment envelope. A general claim about reduced reflected light does not establish visibility or suitability in a particular forklift cab.

Identify the plug controller

The source describes a plug controller with on/off and pattern-selection functions. Request its reference, supply interface and included lead length. Keep those details separate from the lamp’s input range and obtain equipment-specific confirmation rather than assuming a suitable accessory socket exists.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

The source describes general vehicle dash-light applications. It does not confirm a forklift installation, guarantee absence of glare or verify performance. Approval, protection and environmental claims remain outside this catalogue identification exercise.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
