NOVA N6 warning and marker light

An oval multifunction lighthead with separate warning and marker descriptions, distinct from the smaller NL6 reference.

Presentation follows the N6 oval housing and lens arrangement. It is not a dimensioned drawing, output test or confirmation of the selected colours.

Understand this catalogue entry

N6 is separately labelled beneath NL6 in the official catalogue. Its oval housing and dimensioned envelope differ from the narrower NL6 lamp shown above it. The N6 drawing lists 124.3 mm length, 44.2 mm height and 16.5 mm depth. Those differences support a separate reference page rather than changing the existing NL6 identity or treating N6 as a spelling variant.

The N6 table separates warning and marker functions. Its LED entries are warning: 6 × 3 W and marker: 20 × 0.5 W. These are supplier component descriptions, not measured combined input consumption. The adjacent annotations name red, amber and white marker presentations; they do not establish that all colours, functions or approvals are supplied in every ordered unit.

The shared table gives a 10–33 V input, surface mounting, a 20 cm wire description and IP67 wording. The N6 row gives ten patterns, while NL6 has twenty. A similar clear lens does not make their electronics or mounting interchangeable. The NL6 webpage also has its own dimension and voltage descriptions; those are not silently copied into this N6 record.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Which complete N6 version is being quoted?

Request a labelled current photograph and full ordering reference, including warning and marker colours. Ask whether the quoted item combines the required functions and which controller or pattern setting is supplied. Keep the chosen configuration with quantity and destination in the procurement brief. A catalogue family presentation does not establish present stock or that every described colour combination is available.

Does the current drawing match the intended position?

Compare the stated envelope with a current supplier drawing, including fixing centres, rear clearance, cable exit and connector size. The reviewed drawing does not document every installation detail. Do not substitute the smaller NL6 envelope, infer a flush mounting depth from a photograph or assume a forklift-specific fit. Have the relevant equipment documentation establish the intended location and accessory interface.

What electrical and compliance records apply?

Obtain consumption, input limits, control behaviour and environmental records for the exact offered version. Do not calculate vehicle circuit loading by adding the LED component labels alone. The catalogue contains approval references, but no model-specific certificate scope has been independently verified here. Request the applicable documents and check their relation to the complete code and intended market before relying on them.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

The official catalogue supports the printed reference, illustrated configuration and attributed table/drawing entries. Publication date, current availability, authorization, tested output, certification scope and machine fit are not independently verified. Request current documentation for the exact offered version; adjacent model data are not substitutes.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
