NOVA NS-TL011E / NS-TL011U tail/stop/turn comparison

One comparison page for two separately printed tail/stop/turn references whose suffix difference is not explained in the reviewed supplier documents.

Two family appearance examples for comparison. Neither appearance is assigned to E or U; the pair is not a packing list, kit or function-test record.

Understand this catalogue entry

NS-TL011E and NS-TL011U are separately printed in the official catalogue, but both have the same tail/stop/turn function wording. One comparison page keeps those two identities visible without creating two near-identical product descriptions or claiming that an undocumented suffix difference is a verified product feature.

The other reviewed official PDF also lists E and U separately with tail/stop/turn wording. Neither table explains the suffixes. E is not interpreted as proof of European approval, nor U as proof of a United States specification. Their separate labels do not establish different certifications, output colours, connectors or a left/right arrangement. They are not merged into a single ordering code or entered as confirmed aliases.

The catalogue shows all-red and red/amber central-band appearances alongside tail/stop/turn wording. It does not reliably assign one pictured appearance to E and the other to U. The prepared illustration therefore shows family appearance alternatives together without suffix labels. It is not evidence of a supplied pair, a red-versus-amber code definition or the indicator’s operating sequence.

For procurement, retain the precise code used by the quoting organisation and ask it to explain any offered alternative in writing. A matching diameter and function list are only starting points. The electrical response, current document revision, rear fixing, termination and relevant function documents should be compared before accepting interchangeability or consolidating two references into one purchase line.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

What is the documented difference between E and U?

Request a current explanation tied to complete ordering codes, drawings and labelled photographs. Ask which reference the quotation actually covers and why an alternative is being offered. If no difference is documented, record the ambiguity; do not invent market, approval or connector distinctions to complete a catalogue description.

Which optical and electrical functions belong to the offer?

Ask for the selected lens appearance, tail and stop behaviour and turn-output description on the written function schedule. A family webpage mentions dynamic indication, but the two suffix rows alone do not demonstrate sequencing or a particular control interface. Shared power figures are not a per-suffix test report, and an all-red still image cannot prove the turn colour or its compliance.

How many lamps and which accessories are included?

Ask for lamp quantity, mount details, cable length, termination and any separately supplied harness or plug. Two photographed appearance choices do not make this a two-piece kit or a matched left/right set. Verify function-specific documents for the actual destination and offered unit; a shared E9 or IP67 table entry is not independent approval evidence or a promise of vehicle compatibility.

Keep the vehicle and function interface separate

Record the vehicle identification, required signal functions and existing lamp/harness details before requesting a matching offer. A broad 10–30 V family entry does not establish the right control interface, connector, polarity or function behaviour. Ask the equipment maker and quoting supplier for the applicable documents; this reference provides no installation or wiring procedure.

Sources and evidence limits

E and U remain separate printed references with an unresolved distinction. This joint comparison is not a confirmed alias, a two-lamp product package, a compliance comparison or proof of identical construction. No stock, authorisation, fitment or safety benefit is established.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
