Understand this catalogue entry

The NV-TPL source describes an aluminium base and polycarbonate lens even though its title calls the product a plastic-housing lightbar. Keep those material references attached to their component rather than describing the whole assembly as either all-metal or all-plastic. The illustration follows the long divided lens and small mounting feet visible in the source.

A built-in 100W speaker is presented as an option alongside a full LED configuration. It should not be treated as standard equipment in every TPL order. The 90W power row does not map each lighting and speaker combination, and the page gives no dependable installation dimensions. A useful comparison therefore begins with a configuration list, not simply the lightbar name.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Is the offer a light-only or speaker configuration?

Have the quotation identify LED sections, speaker option, required amplifier, controller and included leads separately. Obtain the exact input and consumption sheet for that combination; the lighting power row alone does not describe a complete audio package.

Which functions are actually included?

The source names takedown, traffic-arrow and an ambiguous “alloy light” function. Ask the supplier to define that wording and show the requested functions on a configuration drawing. Do not assume every named function exists on every length or colour version.

What drawing is needed for the mounting package?

Request overall length, mounting centres, cable exit, permanent or hook hardware and clearance requirements. The table gives IP66 but a slash in its certification row, so a particular approval must not be inferred from the appearance or category.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

The official page supports the NV-TPL/TPL naming relationship, listed functions and optional configurations. It does not establish package completeness, verified weather performance, approval or suitability for a particular forklift cab. “12/24V” remains a supplier entry pending clarification of the selected supply version.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
