NOVA B16 / B16D low-profile beacon family

A 130mm beacon family kept distinct from the earlier smaller B16-M source with a shared table code.

Presentation prepared from supplier imagery. Confirm the offered version and supplied parts; the illustration is not dimensional or test evidence.

Understand this catalogue entry

This source identifies B16 and B16D with a 130mm diameter and 62.5mm height. The earlier B16-M catalogue entry uses B16 in its own table but lists a different 111 × 45mm envelope, 36 × 1W emitters and a 10–30V range. These are kept as distinct source configurations; the repeated B16 text is not evidence that the products interchange.

The body gives a maximum power of 28W while the table uses emitter counts and individual ratings. Those figures describe different kinds of information and are not arithmetically substituted for measured assembled demand. Approval wording also differs between the body and table, so it remains attributed until documents identify the exact offered colour and revision.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Which B16-family variant and base is quoted?

Specify B16 single colour or B16D dual colour and identify the selected permanent, magnetic or suction-cup package. Include this source URL and the 130mm envelope to distinguish it from the earlier B16-M reference. The pictured screw-base assembly does not identify every alternative underside or supplied accessory.

What lead and control arrangement belongs to that version?

Ask whether the quoted package uses the 20cm black-tube lead or spiral cable described by the table. Obtain current-demand, mode and controller documents for the actual assembly. Ten patterns and a broad voltage range do not establish compatibility with another beacon or a machine battery circuit.

What drawings and test documents resolve the remaining questions?

Request full mounting dimensions and documents for power, optical and relevant approval claims. Ask the supplier to reconcile its different approval suffixes rather than selecting one from the page. No temporary-mount speed, retention, protection or universal-vehicle promise is made in this reference.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

The official source supports a separate B16/B16D family with identified variants. Shared names across sources, approval wording, assembled power and mounting performance remain evidence boundaries.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.

B16 and B16 PRO: compare the naming before counting another product

The current webpage names B16 and B16D, with a 10–33 V input, 18 × 3 W or 36 × 3 W LED entries, ten pattern entries and a 130 mm diameter by 62.5 mm drawing envelope. Official PDF page 14 labels a similar low-profile beacon B16 PRO and shows overlapping input, LED, pattern and drawing information. This overlap is not written confirmation that Pro is a new assembly, an earlier/later revision or an alias.

Keep the base and mounting version explicit

The catalogue describes a plastic base for B16 PRO and separately identifies BA18 with an aluminium-base description. It also shows magnetic, permanent, DIN and single-point presentations. Those examples do not prove that every mounting option has the same envelope or is delivered in one package. The BA18 and BA18 pro pages retain their own source identities; their names are not silently renamed B16 PRO.

What would resolve the naming relationship?

Request a current complete ordering code, a labelled product photograph, base material, selected mount and model-to-drawing mapping. Confirm the actual input, colour, pattern/controller and packing scope for that item. Until the supplier documentation establishes the relation, this site retains the existing B16 page and creates neither a duplicate Pro page nor an automatic alias.

The catalogue speed-test, corrosion, thermal and approval wording remains attributed supplier language, not independently verified performance or permission to use a mounting arrangement. No stock, authorization, replacement fit or installed safety outcome is established by this comparison.
