Understand this catalogue entry

NOVA publishes NV-SR100SD as a siren amplifier for general service-vehicle applications. Its body and table list several amplifier-power and speaker-impedance choices. Those entries do not define one complete matched configuration or establish which speaker belongs with a quoted amplifier.

The prepared reference retains the amplifier, hand control, cables and small accessories shown in the supplier image. It should not be treated as a packing list. In particular, the illustration does not independently establish that an external sounder or speaker is included.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Resolve the amplifier and speaker combination

Request the complete order code and the documented pairing of amplifier version, speaker load and supplied sounder. Do not combine the largest power figure with an arbitrary impedance entry to create an unsupported system. Keep nominal ratings separate from any measured output or installation result.

Identify the warning-light control scope

The body mentions two lighting-control outputs and current figures. Ask what load conditions, channel restrictions and additional harness are documented for the offered version. The presence of lighting outputs does not make the product a forklift accessory controller or establish compatibility with an existing truck circuit.

Specify the package and envelope

Ask which hand control, microphone, cables, connectors and mounting parts are included. Request a drawing explaining the two length values in the mainframe entry. Keep housing dimensions and mounting-ear dimensions distinguishable rather than selecting one value without evidence.

Keep the amplifier system separate

Prepare the exact vehicle or equipment identity, proposed amplifier and sounder references, and the documented supply and control requirements for supplier review. This catalogue reference provides no wiring, acoustic-setting, installation or operating instructions.

Sources and evidence limits

This is not identified as a forklift reversing alarm, safety sounder or approved site-warning system. No sound-pressure result, authorised siren use, regulatory acceptance, protective performance or equipment compatibility is established.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.

SD and HD: keep the complete code attached

The current NV-SR100SD webpage table gives 12 V, 100/150/200 W wording, 8/4 Ω and 140(160) × 116 × 50 mm. The separately named NV-SR100HD PDF row gives 12/24 V, 100 W, 8/11 Ω and 180 × 177 × 82 mm. Its annotated photograph instead shows 62 mm height. Similar finned housings do not establish an alias, replacement or shared pinout.

Ask for a documented model mapping

Request a current complete code, labelled photograph, drawing and electrical sheet. Ask whether the references denote different assemblies, revisions or source errors. Keep the source-specific entries together until that question is resolved. No automatic alias, inventory, compatible connector or safe replacement claim is made. The original webpage data, image and purchase routes remain available above.
