Understand this catalogue entry

NV-SR100VD is a siren-amplifier family with a front rotary selector, switches and a microphone in its source image. It remains separate from the earlier NV-SR100CD reference, which shows a different control-panel arrangement. The microphone pictured with the amplifier does not establish that a speaker, harness or mounting kit accompanies every quotation.

The table places 100W and 200W alongside 8-ohm and 4-ohm entries, but does not provide a complete revision-specific load map. The 140(160)mm length notation also needs clarification for the selected enclosure. The body describes two lighting outputs and 10A wording; this is retained as a documentation question rather than a verified continuous switching capacity.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Which amplifier revision and speaker load are specified?

Request the full NV-SR100VD revision and written mapping of the power option, intended speaker impedance and supplied speaker if any. Confirm which enclosure length belongs to that version. Power labels alone do not establish acoustic coverage, continuous duty or compatibility with a speaker already fitted to equipment.

What is included and what can the lighting outputs control?

Ask for an itemised list of amplifier, microphone, lead set, controls and mounting components. Obtain output-rating conditions and the actual control-interface documentation for any lights. Two outputs with a stated current value are not proof that an arbitrary lightbar can be connected or controlled safely.

Is this the correct warning function for the application?

Keep siren-tone requirements separate from forklift reversing-alarm requirements. Ask for the relevant product operating documents and review the intended use under applicable site or jurisdiction requirements. The supplier lists several tones and adjustable volume, but this page makes no audibility or permitted-use promise and supplies no wiring or operating procedure.

Separate siren amplification from reversing-alarm requirements

A siren amplifier does not automatically fulfil a forklift reversing-alarm requirement. Keep speaker load, lighting controls and the documented 12V accessory interface distinct in the sourcing brief. This reference supplies no wiring or operational instructions.

Sources and evidence limits

The official body and table support amplifier-family identification and option questions. Speaker-load mapping, switching capacity, acoustic performance, included accessories and permitted application remain unverified.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
