The FL6 entry is NOVA’s surface-mount lighthead reference. The body discusses a wider family containing four-, six- and twelve-LED options, while the reviewed table identifies FL6. That family description is useful for research, but it should not make the three sizes interchangeable on a purchasing request.
The image here depicts the six-optic version in a black bezel. A separate mounting bracket or an adhesive option should be specified in the offer rather than inferred from the front view. Similarly, the presence of colour options does not identify the emitted colour or controller arrangement of a particular supplied unit.
Procurement checklist
Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.
Use FL6 together with the requested colour configuration and a current supplier reference. If another family size is proposed, ask for its own drawing and specification. Do not use the FL6 dimensional entry as a substitute for documents covering the four- or twelve-LED variant.
Ask whether the bezel, adhesive, bracket and fixing hardware are included or quoted separately. Request the mounting centres and cable-exit position on the current drawing. A front-facing image cannot resolve the rear interface or confirm the clearance available on an existing machine.
The table lists versions with or without dimming. Have the supplier identify that choice and the corresponding control documentation. Keep the function requirement separate from the colour choice so that two apparently similar lightheads are not compared as if their interfaces were identical.
A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.
