NOVA SC7X Accessory Switch Controller

A six-output accessory-control family with seven controls listed. Resolve the 30 A versus 40 A catalogue conflict before comparing a proposed electrical package.

Presentation prepared from supplier imagery. Confirm the offered version and supplied parts; the illustration is not dimensional or test evidence.

Understand this catalogue entry

SC7X is NOVA’s accessory switch-controller reference. The feature list describes six output switches and a seven-control arrangement, with different channel figures. The same page gives conflicting combined-current entries, so channel values must not be added together to choose an assumed operating limit.

The prepared image follows the supplier panel, stand and visible leads. It is not an interface diagram and cannot identify every control function, rear connector or internal protective component. Request an annotated panel layout and current ordering reference for the actual version.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Resolve the combined-current discrepancy

The body describes a 40 A maximum load and the table gives 30 A maximum current. Ask for the current specification and conditions for simultaneous loading, load type and duty. This page deliberately adopts neither figure as an approved design limit.

Match the channel map to the offered version

The source lists two channels at up to 10 A and four at up to 5 A. Ask which terminals and controls correspond to those channels and what restrictions apply. Those supplier entries are not instructions for connecting equipment or selecting electrical protection.

Define the control and mounting package

Ask whether the proposed item includes a stand or bracket, labelled controls and the necessary harness. The body mentions backlighting, dimming and linked-controller functions; request the documentation for the functions actually offered. Keep controller options separate from assumed behaviour of an existing truck accessory circuit.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

Broad compatibility, protective-function and approval statements remain supplier claims. This is an accessory switch panel, not a forklift traction controller, verified truck replacement or safety-control component. The combined-current conflict remains unresolved.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
