Information to measure before requesting this model

Record pallet dimensions, openings, bottom-board construction, entry direction, typical and maximum goods mass, load distribution and overhang. Measure the short transfer route, doors, turns, floor joints and thresholds. Identify where the worker loads, positions, parks and retrieves the truck.

Describe trip frequency, walking distance, loading time, breaks and charging access. State the electrical supply and the proposed battery storage arrangement. Identify wet areas, gradients, trailer use or temperature limits that need written supplier approval rather than assuming suitability from a general application description.

Questions for the quotation

• Which fork length, outside width, lowered height and load-wheel arrangement fit our actual pallets?
• How many packs are installed, how many are supplied as spares, and what is the approved replacement procedure?
• Which walking-route, floor, threshold and loading-area conditions are excluded from the offer?
• Which charger, electrical supply, wheel specification and local support are included?

Documents to request

Request the complete model and option codes, current dimension drawing, fork and pallet compatibility record, battery and charger specification, operator manual, maintenance schedule, parts identification source and applicable destination-market documents. The offer should identify who approves the site application, commissions the truck, provides instruction, supports diagnostics, supplies replacement parts and carries warranty responsibility.

How to compare an alternative

Keep the handling task constant: pallet design, goods mass, entry direction, trip distance, transfer frequency, floor, gradients, operating format and charging window. Ask where each figure comes from and whether it applies to the exact quote. Low-lift transport should not be compared with rack stacking by nominal capacity alone.

Include electrical installation, chargers, spare batteries, wheels, planned service, diagnostic access, instruction, commissioning, freight and downtime support. Separate the machine price from the operating arrangements around it. Ask suppliers to identify exclusions so that a lower initial price does not hide missing equipment or support.

Commercial and delivery boundary

Record the legal seller, delivery terms, installation scope, document language, acceptance method, warranty start and responsible service entity. Require written change control for substitutions to forks, wheels, operator protection, controls, battery or charger. Agree a supervised representative-task demonstration and retain the recorded configuration with the purchase.

Parts and service identity

The complete model and serial number provide a starting point for parts research. Preserve component labels, electrical connections, dimensions, mounting details and the source of every proposed replacement. Ask for a catalogue record, drawing, supersession notice or written manufacturer confirmation rather than accepting the family name as a fitment guarantee.

Check the pallet interface before the capacity

Prepare representative pallets and record any damaged or unusual base designs separately. Fork length, outside width, lowered height and load rollers all affect entry. A nominal capacity does not establish that the truck can enter a closed-base pallet from every side. Ask the supplier to mark the relevant dimensions on a drawing and approve the intended pallet types.

For load distribution, include overhang and any offset centre of gravity in the brief. Require the offered configuration and operating documentation to cover that condition. This page helps organize the evidence; it does not supply a load chart or instructions for an unapproved load.

Separate installed packs from the spare-battery plan

The public source describes removable packs and uses different wording for battery quantities across its feature and explanatory sections. Obtain a current arrangement drawing or configuration sheet. The quote should state which packs are installed, which are carried as spares, whether the packs are used together or exchanged, and which charging equipment is provided.

Keep battery identification, connector details and the approved charger with the truck record. Ask the responsible supplier to explain the charging and exchange requirements for that package. Do not assume a replacement pack is compatible because its voltage or outside shape looks similar.

Compare walking and riding as different tasks

Use a measured movement schedule to decide whether a pedestrian vehicle fits the work. Short trips with frequent positioning and a restricted stockroom can lead to a different shortlist from longer repetitive transport. The RPL201E ride-on research route adds a platform, protection and route-planning questions. Its higher nominal capacity does not by itself make it the better choice.

Record the delivered configuration

Keep the fork, wheel, battery, controller, tiller and charger details with the serial number. Identify the responsible local service entity and request a parts catalogue or other written fitment source. Use the parts identification request when organizing component labels and dimensions; the model family alone cannot establish compatibility.
