NOVA D4 / D8 suction-cup window light family

Compare the four- and eight-emitter window-light references in one family, distinct from the existing adhesive-mounted dash-light ranges.

D8 presentation prepared from the supplier image. It does not depict D4 dimensions or confirm the delivered fixing package.

Understand this catalogue entry

The D8 window-light page and D4 blue-visor-light page share the same two-model specification table. They are represented by one D4/D8 family page here, with both official URLs retained below. This prevents the repeated family table from generating a second listing while still allowing the buyer to specify the required four- or eight-emitter reference.

The prepared illustration follows the D8 source: a long optical row above a black glare shield, a top rail and four suction cups. It does not depict D4 dimensions or establish the fixing package for every variant. These suction-cup 12V entries are separate from the existing DF6 and DM4/DM8 adhesive-mounted 10–30V references; a shared “visor” category does not make them equivalent.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Is the request for D4 or D8?

State the exact model, colour configuration and quantity. Obtain a drawing and current specification for that reference; do not scale the illustrated D8 enclosure to estimate D4 size. Both single and split colour wording in the catalogue requires confirmation against the selected order code.

What is included in the window-mount package?

Request the suction-cup arrangement, bracket, shield, lead and plug-controller scope. The D8 body names four cups, but the family table only says suction cup. Neither a reference image nor a fixing description verifies retention force, visibility or suitability for a particular cab.

Can the intended supply be documented?

The D8 source explicitly restricts use to 12V DC. Ask the equipment supplier to document the accessory supply before purchasing. The catalogue input must not be extended to a 24V vehicle or a forklift traction battery, and no conversion or wiring procedure is supplied here.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

Both official sources support this family consolidation. IP65, lifespan and flash-output descriptions remain supplier claims, not independent test evidence. Suction mounting does not establish safe cab placement or universal windscreen fit. Named emergency applications and illustrated colours confer no legal-use permission.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
