Understand this catalogue entry

SC5X is an accessory switch panel with an integrated relay arrangement, not a forklift traction controller. Its table lists four outputs at 4A each and a 16A total maximum. Another NOVA four-output entry has similar dimensions but different current entries. Similar button layout or enclosure size is not evidence that those entries are the same electrical version.

The source mentions a 5A fuse for an output. A fuse value must not be substituted for a continuous output rating or treated as a design instruction. Keep the SC5X table values, fuse description and current revision separate in the sourcing discussion. The illustration shows a panel face, not a complete harness, mounting kit or verified circuit arrangement.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Is the quoted controller specifically SC5X?

Ask for the current reference and revision, a labelled photograph and its specification sheet. Reconcile the 4A-per-output and 16A-total entries before comparing with a similar controller. Do not use the 5A-per-output figure from a different catalogue page as an SC5X rating.

Which loads and functions are documented?

Provide the intended accessory list and ask for the relevant operating limitations and interface documentation. Keep load characteristics and combined demand in the technical review. This purchasing page does not provide wiring instructions or approve a proposed electrical installation.

Which mounting and connection parts are included?

The description includes bracket and adhesive options. Request an itemised list of panel, loom, connectors and mounting hardware, with lead length and enclosure drawing. The button illustration does not establish programmable functions, cab integration or the contents of the offered package.

Keep the machine interface separate

A catalogue input range does not establish compatibility with an electric forklift’s traction battery or accessory circuit. Ask the equipment supplier to identify the documented accessory supply, control interface and intended application. The truck model, serial number and installed-component record remain important even when a lamp or controller looks similar.

Sources and evidence limits

The SC5X table supports identification as a compact accessory controller. Current ratings are supplier entries, not a witnessed load test. This is not evidence of a safety-control function, traction-system compatibility or an interchangeable replacement.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.

Keep the 16A and 20A source versions distinct

The original mini-controller webpage table used here lists 4A per output and 16A total. The current official catalogue, PDF page 19 (printed spread 35–36), instead lists SC5X at 20A and shows a waterproof version. The separate motorcycle page calls its product SC5X-MT but uses SC5X in its table. These sources support a controller-family comparison, not a conclusion that every code or revision is interchangeable.

Do not apply the catalogue 20A value to a controller documented as 16A. Request the complete suffix, date or hardware revision, permissible output specification, enclosure version and matching interface drawing. SC5X-MT remains an unbuilt variant-identity hold, not an alias or another confirmed product page.
