NOVA S18 slim warning lighthead

A separately named catalogue slim warning lighthead; confirm the exact optical version, electrical documentation and complete supplied assembly.

Presentation follows the catalogue’s adjacent lens sections. It does not establish kit quantity, full dimensions, included controls or approval.

Understand this catalogue entry

S18 is separately named in the slim-lighthead section of the official catalogue. It is not the existing S6 lighthead: the S6 webpage gives a 130 × 28 × 12.3 mm envelope and six LED elements, while S18 has a much slimmer drawing and 18/36-element descriptions. Similar product functions do not establish shared brackets, optics or electrical interfaces.

The catalogue product photograph presents two adjacent narrow lens sections. That presentation is retained without claiming that two independently packaged lamps, a harness or a complete installation kit are supplied. The drawing labels 245 mm and smaller 9/9.5 mm profile dimensions; ask the supplier to identify the scope of each dimension and its relationship to the pictured sections.

The table lists a 10–30 V input and ten pattern entries, with single- or dual-colour descriptions. The LED arrangement written as 18 × 3 W or 36 × 3 W is not used to calculate actual consumption. A selected colour, optical version, driver and control package must be identified together in the offer.

Procurement checklist

Resolve these points before comparing offers

Keep the item identity, physical version and supply scope together. Use the questions alongside the published specifications when preparing a sourcing brief.

Which complete lamp or kit does the code cover?

Request the full S18 ordering reference, a model-labelled photograph, number of lamp sections and a packing list. Ask whether the quoted item is a single section, an assembly or a kit, and which control module and harness are included. The source photograph alone does not settle supplied quantity, synchronization scope or whether the ten pattern entries apply to the exact driver being offered.

Which drawing covers the full mounting envelope?

Ask for overall and section dimensions, fixing centres, end fittings and lead exit on one current drawing. The 245 mm annotation must be tied to the actual quoted assembly rather than inferred from a long photograph. The catalogue’s license-plate or bumper example is not evidence of fitment to a forklift, truck or particular body panel.

Which electrical and approval documents apply?

Request the selected input version, actual demand, colour, pattern/control method and applicable test documents. The catalogue approval wording is a supplier statement, not independent confirmation for every colour and mounting orientation. Do not use an S6 document or calculate supply current by multiplying LED component labels. No wiring or positioning procedure is supplied here.

Keep the accessory specification separate from a safety-system claim

A lighthead or hideaway lamp in a vehicle catalogue does not establish an approved forklift protective system or replacement part. Identify the actual machine, documented accessory supply, mounting requirements and intended use through the existing supplier and procurement paths. Current documents must cover the selected configuration. No wiring, installation, aiming or protective-effect instructions are provided here.

Sources and evidence limits

The official PDF supports the separately named reference, appearance and attributed descriptions. Its publication date is unverified. Stock, current revision, authorization, installed visibility and machine compatibility remain unverified. Shared names, colour choices and adjacent approval wording must not be transferred between models.

This reference is neither a quotation nor a stock, delivery or authorisation commitment. Request a current written proposal from the quoting entity. Preserve the item reference, quantity, destination and included accessories in that proposal so that changes of configuration remain visible.
