Start with the EP truck identity
Record the full model, serial number and equipment type before searching for a component. EP's published range separates electric pallet trucks, stackers, counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks. These are useful research branches, not a statement that their batteries, wheels, controls or hydraulic assemblies are interchangeable. Keep the model suffix and serial record together; a shortened family name can hide the exact configuration needed for a parts enquiry.

Choose the correct identification branch

Collect evidence from existing records and safely accessible labels. Do not open batteries, remove guards, disconnect live wiring or dismantle a pressure system to obtain an enquiry photo. Keep component labels separate from truck labels
A truck badge identifies the vehicle; an installed component label identifies a different item. Send both when they are available. A controller may carry its own hardware and software identifiers. A battery or charger may have a separate serial number and rating label. Keep the original photos alongside the transcription so a missing character or unreadable suffix is visible to the person reviewing the request.
If the truck has previously been modified or repaired, say so in the enquiry and include the replacement record. Do not assume that a general parts diagram proves what is currently installed. Ask the supplier to reconcile the truck record, drawing reference and installed component, and to explain any proposed change of number. A statement that an item is similar or commonly used is not a documented match.
Review the proposed replacement
Ask for the offered manufacturer, complete reference, quantity, included accessories and documentary matching basis. Separate original-brand, aftermarket, used and repaired offers rather than treating them as one product. Request written confirmation of the assembly scope: for example, whether a harness, connector, bracket or seal set is included or quoted separately. Keep unresolved technical questions visible before comparing the price.
The commercial response should also identify the contracting entity, destination, lead time basis, shipping scope and applicable warranty and return terms.
