Forklift Sensors

Speed, angle, height, temperature & weight sensors

ForkliftIQ Answer

Forklift sensors feed the controller the data it needs to run safely: speed and direction, steering angle, mast height, oil temperature and (on some trucks) load weight. A faulty sensor often triggers fault codes that look like a controller failure. ForkliftIQ supplies sensors compatible with Heli, Hangcha, EP, Toyota, Linde, Jungheinrich, Hyster, Crown and other major brands.

Sensors vs controller faults

Before replacing an expensive controller, test the sensors and their connectors — speed, angle and height sensors are cheap and fail far more often. A corroded connector causes the same intermittent codes as a dead sensor.

Selection guide — what to check before ordering

To match the correct part the first time, have these details ready (or send a photo and we cross-reference):

  • Sensor type — speed, angle, height, temp
  • Output signal and connector
  • Thread / mounting size
  • Operating voltage
  • Brand, model and part number

Compatibility & cross-reference

We cross-reference forklift speed, angle, height and weight sensors by OEM part number, voltage and forklift model. Send your brand, model, serial number and the number stamped on the old part (or a photo) and we confirm the correct replacement before quoting. A full OEM ↔ aftermarket cross-reference table is being added to each part page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a bad sensor cause forklift fault codes?

Yes — speed, angle and height sensors feed the controller; a faulty sensor or connector commonly triggers codes that mimic controller faults.

Which sensors does an electric forklift have?

Typically speed/direction, steering angle, mast height, oil temperature and sometimes load-weight sensors.

How do I match a sensor?

Send brand, model and the sensor part number or a photo.

Are sensors cheaper than the controller?

Much cheaper — always test sensors first.

Need this part fast?

Send the brand, part number or a nameplate photo — we cross-reference and quote from a worldwide parts network.
